Clinical Endodontics Fellowship
The Fellowship course will comprise of lectures and workshops. This is 2 months course over 12 days leading to a postgraduate Fellowship in Clinical Endodontics from the British Royal Society of Dentists. To qualify for the Fellowship course course you must first have successfully completed the Certificate Course.
Module 4 | Dental Resorption and Pattern of Tooth Fracture & Implant Prosthodontics
Programme outline: Understanding advanced endodontic problems. Handling endodontic failure alternatives related to implants.
Hands-on: Reciprocating Niti and carrier-based thermoplastic obturation techniques & Implant prosthetic and surgery on phantom heads.
Module 5 | Restoration of Endodontically Treated Teeth
Programme outline: Occlusion and whole patient care. The restorative endodontic Interface. Plastic restoration, posts, intra and extra-coronal restorations, cuspal coverage amalgam vs composite.
Hands-on: Placement of core restorations and post-retained restorations.
Module 6 | Management of Endodontic Failure
Programme outline: Endodontic retreatment, surgical endodontics.
Hands-on: Re-treatment of common endodontic obturation materials. Apical micro-surgery on cadavers (animal).
