Dr. Islam A. Shalash [Consultant of Restorative Dentistry]
Dr.Islam is fully registered with the General Dental Council in the United Kingdom and practices between London and Cairo.
Dr. Islam A. Shalash graduated with honors from the faculty of dentistry, Cairo University in 2005.
In 2011 he obtained his Master’s Degree in Endodontics from Cairo University.
He then completed his PhD in 2022 in one of the most advanced branches of dentistry which is Laser Dental Treatment also at Cairo University.
In 2017 Dr. Islam – after years of case presentations and strict examinations- obtained the Highest Dental Distinction from the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in the United Kingdom, which entitles Him to use the prestigious academic title Member of The Royal College Of Surgeons in the speciality of Restorative Dentistry.
In 2018 Dr. Islam was the first Egyptian consultant to obtain the Membership of the Royal Faculty of Dental Trainers in the United Kingdom, which is a position awarded to dentists with unique achievements in the field of Dental Education of younger dentists in the United Kingdom.
In 2021 Dr. Islam Obtained The Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England the second of the four prestigious medical royal entities in the United Kingdom .
In 2022 Dr. Islam Obtained The Specialty Membership of Endodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow the third of the four prestigious medical royal colleges.
In 2022 Dr. Islam was awarded The Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland.
Currently Dr. Islam is a Lecturer/Researcher of Restorative Dentistry at the National Research Centre and an international speaker and lecturer of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics.
With a wealth of clinical, academic and paramedical experience in the UK and Egypt and international universities, Dr. Islam established The Royal Academy of Dentists to provide high quality dental education to both national and international dentists.
